20 YEARS OF BORDER VIOLENCE — ABOLISH FRONTEX NOW!

While in Germany and Europe, fascists are on the rise and racist policies against people on the move are being expanded every day, EU's murderous border agency, Frontex, celebrates its violent 20 year existence this year. Frontex is the European Union’s border police force. Frontex is responsible for systematic human rights violations through its operations; involvement in deportations; cooperation with third countries, and strengthening EU borders.

20 years of Frontex means 20 years of border violence! With the support of the German government, Frontex patrols the worlds deadliest border; since 2014 at least 30,000+ people have drowned in the Mediterranean, and 60,000+ killed by the EU border regime overall.

The 3rd of October alone marks the day of the death of over 360 people on the move, during a shipwreck off Lampedusa in 2013.
It is a day to mourn and protest the deadly border regime.

On the 3rd of October we will take the streets because it's far past time to Abolish Frontex and the colonial & capitalist system it represents! It’s time to end the German involvement in Frontex, to end the deadly EU border regime, to stop the EU’s role in creating refugees, to stop deportations, and to build a society where everyone is free to move and free to stay. Together for freedom of movement for all!
