Rally: No room for right-wing agitation - stop AfD!

Call for a rally by Kassel gegen Rechts, Omas gegen Rechts and Seebrücke Lokalgruppe Kassel.

The AfD district association Kassel-Land is organizing a New Year's reception on Friday, 23 January, in the Bürgerhaus Vellmar-West. Five Hessian AfD members of parliament are expected to attend.

This event must not go unopposed.

That is why we are demonstrating!

We oppose the AfD because it stands for racism, exclusion and the erosion of human rights. Its policies divide society, relativize democratic values and turn refugees and minorities into scapegoats for social and political problems. This ideology is dangerous - for social cohesion and for our democracy.

Especially in times of a massive shift to the right, we need a strong, vocal civil society. When racist agitation becomes socially acceptable and hides behind the supposed neutrality of public spaces, it is our responsibility to take a clear stance. Community centers are places of encounter, education and togetherness - they must not be a space for right-wing propaganda.

We consistently stand for solidarity, respect and an open society. We will not allow misanthropic ideologies to gain a foothold in our neighborhood. Our protest shows: We do not look away. We contradict. We oppose.
