Six years later - SAY THEIR NAMES

We are approaching the sixth anniversary. Every year, every month, we name nine names - and we mean all the victims of right-wing, racist and anti-Semitic violence. We commemorate them all. And we mean all of them.

We have been living with pain and anger for six years. They have become part of our everyday lives. For the relatives, remembering means telling the story again and again - the way it happened. Against forgetting. Against trivialization. Against twisting the truth.

Their names are an indictment. They challenge us to name and fight the racist normal state of affairs - in everyday life, in authorities, in politics, in the media and in the security apparatuses. Where people look the other way, relativize and remain silent. Where warnings are ignored and those affected are not heard.

Concern and lip service are not enough. The state has not fulfilled its obligation - not even today. Without legal clarification and critical reappraisal, everything remains as it has always been: impunity in the authorities continues.

At a time when the danger of an extreme right-wing government is real, we say clearly: Never again is now.

We demand close listening and genuine solidarity with those affected. As long as we are not recognized as an equal part of this society, right-wing violence and exclusion are not the exception - they are the consequence of this state of affairs. There can be no "business as usual" for those responsible. Not for those who remain silent. Not for those who look the other way. Not for those who cover up. And not for those who protect the perpetrators instead of the victims.

Our message on the sixth anniversary is clear:

Remembering means changing.

Remembering means acting.

Remembering means fighting.

Remembering means coming together and looking out for each other.

That is why we are calling on everyone to remember together on February 19 at 6 p.m. and to make SAY THEIR NAMES visible everywhere. Loud. Visible. In solidarity.
