Documentary film: No country for nobody

The idea was born in 2022 from the urgent need of directors Max Ahrens and Maik Lüdemann to counter the growing right-wing extremist tendencies in politics and society. Their personal experiences - including a Mediterranean rescue mission and academic debates on the topic of flight and migration - led to the decision to create a film that would shake people up, document and motivate them to take action.

Kein Land für Niemand is therefore not only a documentary film, but also an expression of solidarity-based alliance politics - a cultural counterweight to the political coldness of the present.
