Input/Workshop: Police violence and border regime (DE)

Whether deportation or illegal refoulement at the borders, repression against the Palestine solidarity movement or unrestrained violence at demonstrations - the brutality of police action hits the most vulnerable groups in society the hardest and is part of a society of growing authoritarianism and fascism. In this workshop, we would like to provide input on well-founded criticism of the police and discuss together what consequences can be drawn from this knowledge.

What narratives about the police are we actually taught, how should we perceive the police? What history and what facts are actually behind ACAB? What role are (surveillance) technologies increasingly playing? What needs to change and how can this become possible?
