Still moving: 10 Jahre nach dem langen Sommer der Migration

It has been 10 years since the migration movements along the so-called Balkan route shook the European migration regime. For a brief moment, a different world was imaginable: a world in which people could go wherever they wanted. And stay there.

Today, hardly anything seems further away. Europe is massively arming itself and People on the Move are the first to feel the effects.

Last year, we wrote our magazine _8 Years after the March of Hope - Stories of and Perspectives on the Balkan Route_ and have now turned it into a staged reading in collaboration with studiobühneköln.

In it, we shed light on the events along the Balkan route since its politically announced closure in 2016. Through interviews, field reports and artistic interventions, the mechanisms of the European migration regime as well as solidarity networks in South-East Europe are made visible.
