Movie night on sea rescue

Every first Thursday of the month, Linksjugend solid Heidelberg organizes a political film evening after its plenary session, followed by a discussion. This time we are invited with our campaign "Mensch lässt Mensch nicht ertrinken! Your donation helps!". Because at a time when sea rescue is being criminalized more and more and funding is being cut, awareness and attention for the issue is more important than ever.

During the evening, we will present our campaign and watch a film about sea rescue. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

️ The event is part of our donation campaign "Don't let people drown - your donation helps!". With this campaign, we want to raise awareness of the issue of sea rescue and motivate people to support the sea rescue organization Sea-Eye with a monthly donation. Thousands of people are still drowning in the Mediterranean every year. Europe lets them drown in order to deter other potential refugees. Civilian sea rescue organizations such as Sea-Eye defy this deadly isolationist policy. Their life-saving work is financed by donations - your donation helps.
