Lecture and workshop: Sea rescue and ship sponsorship

After the complete cessation of support and the ongoing criminalization of civilian sea rescue by Germany, we must take matters into our own hands and hold the city of Hanover accountable. Hanover is formally part of the 'Safe Harbor' alliance. Then the city should also take a stand against the politically desired deaths in the Mediterranean.

Our event will start with an input from CompassCollective on sea rescue with the sailing ship Trotamar III, criminalization measures, as well as current news on the development around the demand for a Hanoverian ship sponsorship. We want to end with a workshop on civil engagement from Hanover to the Mediterranean. Let's demand a ship sponsorship for Hanover together!
