Organized the by the local group

This September, people on the run, migrant activists, comrades and allies will march from Thuringia to Berlin to protest against tighter restrictions and inhumane migration and asylum policies in Germany. 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of the March of Hope in 2015, when thousands demanded their right to freedom of movement! As an alliance, we want to support and welcome our brothers and sisters in Berlin, which is why we are organizing this protest camp. We show solidarity with the Caravan for Freedom of Movement, which will take to the streets from September 20 to 27, culminating in a parade in Berlin on the last day.

The camp will take place from September 20 to October 1 at O-Platz, a place that has been a site of resistance, solidarity and community building for decades.

In 2012, people came from camps all over Germany and occupied O-Platz for 1.5 years to demand the right to asylum, an end to deportations, the camp system and the abolition of the Residenzpflicht! Now, in the year 2025, we as the O-Platz movement are taking up the fight again due to restrictive policies, the fortification of deportation prisons and rejections at the EU borders!

We are coming together to make our demands:

STOP all deportations, abolition of the racist payment card, self-organized housing, equal social and political rights, right to stay for all - and many more!

There will be discussions, workshops, music, films, gatherings and strategy talks about how we can organize and fight together, and much more!

Let's come together, learn from each other and make our demands loud and clear! Let's unite and fight.

O-Platz is alive!
