Rally: Families belong together – NOW!

13.07.2025 15:00 Uhr

Hamburg, Tschaikowskyplatz

The decision was made today: The federal government is suspending it. This means: children without parents. Refugees die on the run because legal routes are blocked.

We demand: for ALL. An end to separation, racism and violation of the law!

Come along, bring friends - with a children's program & a clear message: Family is a human right. ️

Thousands of families who have been separated by flight or war are waiting to be reunited in Germany - even if they have a right to be.

The suspension of family reunification prolongs their suffering. We say: Stop it! Families belong together - everywhere and at all times.

Measures such as the rejection of asylum seekers at the external borders or the exclusion of benefits for Dublin refugees (decided by the Ampel government) deliberately ignore applicable law. They are part of a migration policy agenda that ignores basic human rights and seeks to enforce isolation in a way that is sometimes illegal.

Human rights and constitutional principles hardly seem to play a role for the federal government. The suspension of family reunification is an attack on the rule of law. An attack on the fundamental right to family. An attack on our common humanity.

Come to Tschaikowskyplatz in Hamburg on July 13 at 15:00. With our rally and colorful children's program, we will set an example together: For human rights. For families. Against exclusion and racism.
